Australian Sustainability is coming…
Sustainability is not a new concept that has suddenly appeared overnight - we’ve all heard/read/spoken about the realities of our growing populations, travel, energy use and industry activity and the inevitable impact this has on our environment. However, the topic of sustainability within organisations and business is fast gaining increased attention and urgency.
There is a pressing business need for knowledge around adapting and changing their current practices to become a more socially and environmentally responsible organisation - be it better waste and recycling management or reducing emissions. Reducing environmental impact is one huge up-side. The others which many business owners and managers are keen to explore is the increased competitive advantages, resource efficiencies and cost-savings there are to be made.
